ABOUT
We made this video along with Northop Voices & Upton Community Choir in aid of Flint RNLI. Their lifesaving work on the River Dee reaches from Point of Ayr through to Chester. We were delighted to work with members of the Chester University Dance Department and Flint Lifeboat Station. Listen to us singing Craig McLeish's beautiful setting of Tennyson's 'Crossing The Bar'.
This video was made as a fundraiser for our local lifeboat station. if you would like to donate, please click on the link below:

About Buckley Singers
Established over 130 years ago and formerly known as Buckley Choral Society, we are a mixed choir which meets at Buckley Cross Methodist Church, Padeswood Road North CH72JL every Thursday at 7.30 pm. We sing in many genres from classical to modern; from Bach to The Beatles and beyond.
No formal training is required, we do not hold auditions.
You just need to enjoy singing with others; whether you are a soprano, alto, more especially tenor or bass we would welcome you into our singing group, to make new friends and share in the joy of singing together.
We perform at a number of venues and for any number of occasions.
We can be booked for weddings and funerals and private events. In the past we have sung at flower festivals at local churches, taken part in Wrexham Street Singing and performed at private parties and entertained residents in local care homes. Buckley Singers try to raise funds for charity when we perform, charitable donations have been made to Nightingale House Hospice, The Neuro-Therapy Centre in Saltney and MIND CYMRU.
In 2023, the Buckley Singers have performed three 'Concerts For Peace' in local venues, raising well over £1300 for the Ukraine Appeal and the Turkish/Syrian Earthquake Appeal. The music reflected the title...the repertoire consisted of classical pieces as well as music from more contemporary composers. The second half of the concerts culminated with excerpts from 'The Armed Man' by Sir Karl Jenkins.
